The Computer Science Teachers Association(CSTA) is a membership organization that supports and promotes the teaching of computer science and other computing disciplines. As a member of CSTA we develop our curriculum based on their guidelines to reinforce concepts and skills taught in other subject areas by integrating computer science, national Math, and Science standards.

As an affiliate of code.org we offer professional development for North Carolina educators and teachers. If you are a teacher or educator who are interested in attending a workshop, please register our workshops at code.org.

MinecraftEdu transforms Minecraft into a teacher-directed virtual learning environment. It contains many additions to the original game that make it more useful and appropriate in a school setting. At CAML Academy, we adopt MinecraftEdu to host servers and build custom maps with integrated content as well as create and administer assignments and lessons.

CS First is a free program that increases student access and exposure to computer science (CS) education through after-school, in-school, and summer programs. We are very proud to host the clubs and volunteer to help students become an expert in computer science.

ScratchEd is a an online community where Scratch educators exchange resources and share interactive media such as stories, games, and animations with people from all over the world. As a member of ScratchEd, CAML Academy work with Scratch educators world wide teach children learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically by using Scratch to create video games, storylines, animations  and robotics programming.

Maker Camp is a free online summer camp for children at all ages. We host Maker camps to inspire children to embrace their inner maker by letting them do fun activities and share them with others through the Google+ platform. They will make awesome projects, go on epic virtual “field trips,” and meet the world’s coolest makers.
