Minecraft 101 for Families 

Minecraft 101 workshops will be offered the 2nd Saturday

of every month from 10am to noon at CAML Academy.

$10 will be collected at the door for each family.

Join us for a 2-hour workshop with your child to learn what

Minecraft is and how it is different than all other video games! 

Bond with your child over the coolest game you'll ever play!

 

Minecraft 101 is designed for one child (aged 5-13) to participate with one parent or guardian at a time. Laptops and Minecraft temporary accounts are provided for each participant. 

 

At this workshop you will:

• learn the basic controls of Minecraft

• explore survival and creative game modes

• be able to download customized worlds for you and your child

• understand the power of Redstone and some of its functions

• witness the cross-curricular connections that Minecraft provides

• enjoy free play with your child on a multi-player server

• relate to your child on a new level and gain a greater understanding of your child's interests
